RENTAL POLICIES
Rental Fees
To be paid in full 30 days prior to the event, or as soon as the facility is scheduled. Rental fees are nonrefundable if event is cancelled less than 30 days prior to event. However, we are aware that some circumstances are beyond ones control. Under those circumstances, your event may be rescheduled. Cleaning/Damage Deposit A damage deposit of $250 is required for all rentals and is due thirty (30) days prior to the date of the event. The damage deposit will be refunded after the event when the "checkout" form has been completed and returned, and the Historical Society does a final inspection of the facility. Damage fees will be charged as follows:
Event Set-Up/Take Down Renter will be responsible for table and chair set up before the event, and take-down after the event. (Set-up and take-down will be included as part of rental time.) Rates for set-up/take-down by the Historical Society will be $25/hr (minimum), are not included in the rental time, and are considered an optional charge. Cleaning Renter will be responsible for cleaning of building after the event. Cleaning time by renter is included in rental time. Additional cleaning by ICHS will be $25/hr (minimum) and will be deducted from the damage deposit. ICHS Cleaning Person--Rates for cleaning by the Historical Society will be $25/hr (minimum) and are considered an optional charge. Renters choosing to hire the cleaning must make arrangements with the Historical Society prior to the event. Decorations Confetti, Paper Shredding Machines, and Rice ARE NOT ALLOWED. All decorations must be preapproved for use. Unapproved decorations may result in a deduction from your damage deposit. Event Hours All evening events must end by Midnight Certificate of Liability Insurance A Certificate of Liability may be required naming the "Isanti County Historical Society" as an additional insured on the Certificate. Determination of this certificate will be made based on the type of your event. If needed, this Certificate of Liability is due 30 days prior to the event date, and should be available through your business insurance, homeowner's insurance or renter's insurance.
