We are more grateful than words can express for the help we've received since our building burned down on Friday, July 8. The support from the community has been incredible. Lowe's donated bins to use to transport items from the rubble of the building. Wendy's and Arby's donated food to our workers. Isanti Rental brought a tent as soon as we called. Larson's Implement provided the refrigerated truck we are using to freeze dry the photographs and documents that survived the blaze. The Minnesota Historical Society immediately sent out two staff members who are experienced in disasters to walk us through this process. Volunteers poured in to assist. Among them were Dolly Brown, Marilyn McGriff, Kay Rodrigue, Ed and Sue Sweep and their grandchild Adam, Tom LeBey, Maureen Hasan, Susie Haen, Todd and Wendy Quinn, Kriste Ericsson and others. Wow. You are all wonderful. |
